Everyone's
talking about blogs, blogs, blogs... and many of us know they can be a lot
of fun to read.

But what is a blog? And are they worth our time as HIV/AIDS advocates
seeking to win change and improve our efforts against the epidemic? If we
know our communication goals, how can blogging be a part of reaching them in
the Web 2.0 Era?

Join us for a stimulating call with two AIDS community bloggers who will
discuss the basics of blogging, how to set goals for your use of blogs to
further our work, and tips for making your posts or comments really work for
you.

*At the conclusion of the teleconference, participants will be able to:*

- Understand what a blog is and its role as a communication tool
- Identify at least three characteristics of blogs that can be considered
for strategic communications as HIV/AIDS advocates
- Set goals for their individual and organizational presence on blogs
- Utilize key strategies for successful blog posts and comments
